The Verdis Youth Committee is a new youth-led organization with the main objective of getting our younger generations involved in Verdisian Politics, as well as spreading awareness in regard to the current situation within Verdis. The committee will be focusing on political debates, discussions on any active political matters, & Verdis promotional & awareness material. This program shall be opened for Verdisian Citizens & Verdisian E-residents on a handpicked basis. Although not currently owned or registered as an official Government Organisation, we aim to do so in the future once the political situation within Verdis has settled.
The committee shall have 2 meetings every month, a general situation meeting as well as a debate on any political or non-political matter affecting Verdis or the Verdisian people. All meeting information shall be coordinated with the VYC up to 2 days in advance of the scheduled date. All committee members are encouraged to attend such meetings to further develop their, political skills & benefit the nation as needed. Verdisian Government officials shall attend based on their availability.
Our Fields & Programs:
Along with meetings, we have general duties that, committee members are required to take up such as the following. Feel free to join based on which position you feel comfortable with. Listed below are the fields we offer:

Promotional Team
Promote Verdis by spreading awareness in regard to the ongoing situation & illegal occupation of Croatia. Promote joining our E-Residency program as well as other ways to get involved with Verdis & its development.

General Assistance
Answer questions, point people in the right direction & provide clarifications when people have doubts or concerns.

Committee Admin
Create presentations for monthly discussions, find controversial topics to debate about & coordinate the VYC meetings to ensure a smooth & proactive meeting.
Steps to Qualify:
The Verdis Youth Committee is a competitive organization, however to qualify the steps are straight-forward to allow anyone interested the opportunity to join.

Be under the age of 18, and hold Verdisian
e-Residency
1(b). Citizenship
(OR) Be under the age of 18, and hold Verdisian Citizenship

Fortnightly meetings are held to keep Youth Committee Members on-track with the changing political landscape, along with allowing members to debate and discuss on a range of relevant topics.

YC Members are able to engage in debate and express their opinions, the organisation supports it's members to express these opinions publicly and to the government for consideration.
Debating Skills
YC Members are supported in and actively encouraged with engaging with debates hosted fortnightly on a range of political and non-political issues.
Enhance CV
YC Members gain a range of skills, along with taking on valuable experience and having the ability to network with their peers / mentors. All of which is highly valuable to recruiters and possibly visa / citizenship processors.
Enhanced Teamwork
All YC Members develop teamwork skills by collaborating with each other to support greater success and achieve better results for the committee.
