The Verdisian Government has officially announced that its highly acclaimed e-residency program has surpassed 1000 members. Showing a clear increase for interest in Verdisian citizenship
The announcement has brought widespread support for the achievement, with others showing their interest in joining the e-residency program themselves, especially to gain Verdisian Citizenship.

The government posted a statement on the government website stating "Today, Verdis’ e-Residency program surpassed over 1,000 active members, including both Basic and Plus plan users. e-Residency has significantly grown in the past couple of months, raising a large amount of funds and support, which has played a significant role in Verdis’ development."
While in a post shared across multiple of his official social media accounts, President Daniel Jackson repeated the statement adding "It's [The e-Residency program] raised Tens of thousands of euros for Verdis' development"
It is clear from the announcement and statements made alongside it that the success of the e-Residency program is a massive boost for Verdis economically and with its path to international recognition. The rate of growth the program has seen over the past month matches the frequent media attention Verdis has received, suggesting while Verdis continues to trend the quantity of e-Residents will only continue to rise.
This can be seen with the increase in social media messages, commenting their desire and interest about gaining Verdisian citizenship. For example, one commentor wrote "Hey Daniel I truly believe in the Free Republic of Verdis. How can I apply for a citizenship?"
With this increase in demand however, it raises the question on how the e-Residency program is going to continue to improve in the face of demand and increased expectations from existing and prospective e-Residents.
The same previous government statement covered this point stating "As the e-Resident program continues to grow, we are preparing to expand the programs benefits behind the scenes by improving the e-Residency portal, agreeing to proposals with partners and businesses that may give discounts and benefits to e-Residents in the future, and much more."
From this, we can see that supposedly the e-Residency program will only continue to advance, bringing more benefits for e-Residents alike. However, all trends eventually come to a close, for Verdis this means: will the boost in media attention cease or will the attention continue to grow?
Regardless of the unpredictable future, Verdis Live congratulates the government in their achievement. Here is to plenty more e-Residents to come.
Verdis Live will continue to report on this topic if more information or statements are released.
